South Puget Sound Chapter History

In December of 2009, a handful of Brothers from the Original Chapter, decided it was time to expand, and form another Chapter more to the South of Tacoma, Washington. The goal was to allow the opportunity for Veterans in the South Puget Sound area to join the BIAMC family.

 The new group started having meetings, setup the Executive Committee, worked on by-laws and gathered all the information needed to get the South Puget Sound Chapter going. In January 2010, we became a Probationary Chapter and started working on all the requirements to become a Chartered Chapter of the Brothers In Arms Motorcycle Club. We worked long and hard to fulfill all the requirements to become our own Chapter and by the time March 2010 rolled around we had succeeded. In April of 2010 we were officially Chartered as the South Puget Sound (Dirty South) Chapter of the Brothers In Arms Motorcycle Club at Downtown Harley Davidson in Renton , with members of the Original Chapter and the North Puget Sound Chapter in attendance.

Since we became an official Chapter, we have raised money for many different Veterans charities, sponsored rides for local Harley dealerships, escorted our returning troops from the flight line to their families at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, escorted two large steel beams from the World Trade Center for a 9/11 memorial, and we will continue to do more of the same. We are committed to supporting our Military and we are very proud of the time spent in our respective branches of Military Service.

The South Puget Sound Chapter will continue to do our very best to support all Veterans, young, old, healthy, disabled, retired or active duty, in any way that we can. We stand ready to welcome Veterans of any branch of service into the Brotherhood that makes the Brothers In Arms Motorcycle Club the tight knit, respected, and loved family that it is.
